The story
This enterprise-grade portal serves as the primary digital touchpoint for one of the largest insurance providers in the region. It supports thousands of concurrent users, including agents, brokers, and end-customers.
What was breaking
The existing portal was a monolith that was difficult to update and frequently suffered outages during high-traffic periods.
What I built
Participated in the strangler fig migration strategy to gradually replace the monolith with microservices, starting with the high-volume authentication and policy lookup modules.
